The independent force of East Belgium

PDB, the “Partei der Deutschsprachigen Belgier” was one of the founding parties of EFA. In 2006 they started a process of rebranding the party.

The new party that was then created in 2008 became PRO DG. With their new profile, they are not just the successor of PDB/PJU but a broader movement and party.

The program of ProDG aims for more autonomy and competences in order to have better policies towards their citizens. The citizens and their community lies in the heart of their political action. They are pragmatic in their approach, they value solidarity and subsidiarity, they support the Belgian construction since they fear to lose rights in a split-up scenario of Belgium. They are open to Europe and the world, aim for sustainable development and ecological policies.
