The European Free Alliance launched its new website, two new videos, and its new logo yesterday on the occasion of the EFA group conference on ‘The Right to Decide’ held in the European Parliament.
EFA Secretary General, Jordi Sole, introduced the new website to conference participants describing how the new branding, “both respects each EFA party’s uniqueness and at the same time celebrates what unites us as a political family.”
Mr Sole continued that EFA’s new modern image comes in “interesting times” as core EFA issues such as the right to self-determination move centre stage on the European political scene, making it vital for the EFA party to have an up-to-date public image. Referring to the new logo Mr Sole said that, “the reverse E is a symbol of our ambitions to bring about another Europe, a different Europe.”
As Europe looks forward to the 2014 European Parliament elections, EFA has also produced two new cutting edge videos for general distribution, firstly, on the right to self-determination, examining this right and how it applies to the peoples of Europe. Secondly, the video entitled ‘What is EFA’, takes a broader look at the party, who it represents, and discusses its primary aims and objectives.
The videos, directed by the EFA Secretariat and produced by the Catalan company Atipus, received a warm reception from the audience with Daniel Turp (Parti Quebecois), a professor in constitutional law from the University of Montreal, highly recommending them.
