With support of the OSF (Onafhankelijke Senaatsfractie) the European Free Alliance (EFA) is organizing the Sustainable Energy Conference (SEC).
This event will be held in Leeuwarden, Fryslân, on 27 and 28 October 2017.
The conference is open for registration (at conferences(at)e-f-a(dot)org) and we would love to see registered people who are willing to take action or initiatives following this conference.
One of the sources for this conference is an independent study from the University of Twente on the different energy sources, but also the example of Fryslân, one of the regions of EFA. We expect experts and participants from the different regions of EFA, OSF members from the different regions of the Netherlands, experts on wind, solar, geothermal, bio-mass/gas, and others.
Another crucial part of the conference is the way energy-supply is and will be organized. We see many local and regional communities arranging their own energy supply with interesting business models.
The outcome of the conference will be a set of actions, plans, recommendations and projects which will be followed up. We invite all participants to show their intentions and to be creative and pro-active on how to proceed on a specific subject of their choice.
We believe that with the information, conclusions and recommendations deriving from the SEC-2017, European regions can better organize their strategies and policies for Sustainable Energy, as well as co-operate and learn from each other.
We hope you will find this high level conference appealing, so that we can all together bring new ideas about the different sustainable energy sources and on the policies to be applied so that there is a better and more sustainable future for all the regions of Europe.
